Hi everyone! Sorry i have been slacking on getting my posts in lately. Life is going very well here, routine routine routine. So basically there is no big news on our end. We are counting down the days until we find out weather we should call our little one a he or a she! We are soooooooooo excited to find out! OH and i have been feeling little movements :) They are not huge and no one else can feel them yet. They are not huge or distinct it is just feels like a little "swooshing" in my belly :) We have the most of the furniture in the baby's room but decided not to set it up until we find out boy or girl. I think we are going to do some painting in the room but have not decided what colors or designs... i was leaning towards stripes and maybe gender neutral colors. (I am not so into the baby blues and pinks) But we will see what our final decision is! If you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know! Maybe we will go look at some ideas this weekend!
Oh and my little garden has taken off! My tomatoes and peppers are getting very big! And my beans, carrots and beats are growing like little weeds. I promise i will get some pictures up of the house and garden sooner then later :)
Love you all very much!

It feels like it has been awhile since i wrote anything! Maybe a week or two. Anyways everything on our end is very calm and nice! We have settled into our new house very nicely. I do have pictures of the house but now have to upload them to the computer... everything is a process :)
We had a very nice mothers day. This was not technically my first, next year will be (but i have to admit i enjoyed it like it was my first) We went out to breakfast at Grand Street Cafe with some family, which was very nice! Then we did some landscaping. We planted Azaleas in the front along with some Hostas. And we reworked out flower bed a bit. We still need to get mulch to cover up the ugly gravel they laid before us! So that was a fun day :) I was soooooo tired by the end of it though. Oh and also i have got everything planted in my garden!!! Well most everything that is. . . so far i have my tomatoes, peppers, beets, carrots and green beans in. I am just waiting for my seedlings to get a little bigger for my cantaloupe and cucumbers. and then i think we will be all set! Last night i went to water the garden and check on everything and it was so fun because all the seeds had sprouted. The beans were the most "dramatic" just like my dad said they would be! I looked one day and there was nothing in then the next they were an inch tall! It was crazy!!!! (but very cool to watch)
Now on to the good stuff! My appointment went great! It was just a normal checkup. I did get to hear the little heartbeat however :) It was right around the 150s range which is perfect and exactly where is it suppose to be. It was so wonderful hearing it again!!!!! So the next appointment is the big one... we will find out the sex of the baby! I can not believe we are only 3 weeks away from knowing boy or girl! I have been telling everyone either way it will be such a surprise!!!!! Most women guess one way or the other before they find out but i do not have a clue! I go back and forth. So that will be a big post for everyone to read :)
Last but not least I want to thank you guys for catching up with us and commenting on the posts! Its always so fun to get on and check and see what everyone has said!!! I am so so so so so glad that we have been able to share all this fun stuff with you and will continue to :)
we hope everyone is doing well!
We love you all very much!!!

We are moved in!!!!
Hi everyone! So i woke up this morning in my new house!!! PJ worked so hard yesterday at getting all of our stuff moved in, he was def a rock star!!!! I am so thanking him today! Anyways I did promise pictures of the house and really am planning on taking some this weekend :) PJ's family is coming up this evening after work to see the house. Oh... and they are bringing the baby furniture!!!! We are borrowing a very nice crib and changing table from Tyler, PJ's older brother. (THANKS TYLER!!!!!) So that will be in the baby's room tonight! We will not start decorating until we know the sex of the baby though. Speaking of baby... we have our next appointment in 5 days!!!! I am so so so so so so so so excited. I can not tell you how fun it is to go to the doctor these days :) I thought I would never say that! We will not get a sonogram this time but hopefully we will get to hear that amazing little heartbeat again! I get so excited even just thinking about it... it is truly one of those things that is so amazing words do not even come close to explaining. Make me smile, i guess is the simplest way :) Live simply, love much and laugh plenty! :)
OH i almost forgot to tell you about my gardening too!!! So I decided in my attempt to become more domesticated I would lend my hand to gardening this year! Well there is good news and bad news at the start of the season. . . we will start with the many positives.
1. At our new house there is a perfect spot for a veggie patch (garden). The bed is right next to our little patio in the backyard. It is the perfect size for a little beginner garden! (Not sure exact measurements but you get the point :)) It has a little stone border like there was a flower bed there before. I will have to put up some fencing for the dogs and any other little critter that will be eyeing my plants!
2. My dad and I planted some seeds... and they have sprouted!!!! So now i get to watch the miracle of life in more way then one :) (a little corny i know, but its still so fun!) I told my girlfriends I never thought i would be so excited about seeing little sprouts! We planted cucumbers and cantaloupe as well as a couple different kinds of daisies and zinnias. I love both of those flowers because the make great cutting flowers, bright flowers and beautiful thick green stems & foliage! We have other seeds to plant which are green beans, beets, spinach and i feel like i am forgetting one more... Oh I also want to get some herbs and maybe some watermelon and pumpkins. I might be biting off more then I can chew with this one! We also go the baby plants of tomatoes and peppers ( the staples in a Cusick garden)
Now to the bad news... IT HAS BEEN TO WET TO GET ANY OF THIS INTO THE ACTUAL GROUND! It will not stop raining here! And from what i hear it sounds like it will continue for another week or so! Hopefully sooner then later I will be able to get these plants in the ground! And when I say I, I mean my dad and me:) That is another reason why i really wanted to start a garden. I remember as a little girl how my dad would be out in the garden and my sister and i would go help/pretend to help or just be playing out there while he worked away at it:) I thought with the baby coming this might be something special for me and him/her to share. If you know the Cusick side of this newly started family you would know that they have an appreciation for mother earth that is above and beyond! I would have nothing less then to pass this onto our little one... once again one of those little things i just can not put into words because it is so special to me . Ok I have teared up twice now! I think i should stop before i start actually crying at work! We hope you all are doing well and send all of our love!
Happy Spring & Friday!
